A nice write up in the Arizona Daily Star about the park construction we are working on and the neighborhood history surrounding it…
We are near completion of this park construction project – just waiting on artwork to embed into the columns that will tell the story of the salvaged roof tiles and the salvaged foundation stones.
Here is the follow up to this post.
Fast construction requires a partnership approach.
Great customers make great partners and together we can make great projects.
This project is ahead of schedule.
Update – Project complete and dedication
Update 11/28/16 – Progress picture and article from Arizona Daily Star
Working with a fantastic neighborhood that is passionate about saving a piece of history. This neighborhood has salvaged beautiful glazed roof tiles from a near by demolition of a historic ranch house in mid-town Tucson.
They now are now planning a presentation of those historic tiles on a new park ramada structure.
Kappcon is pleased to be working with this team to ensure a quality result within a tight budget.
We are increasing our capabilities to self perform work for our customers.
Our new Bobcat E42 Excavator is going to work for us at our current project with the Town of Marana, AZ.
Kappcon is your partner in success!
Next up for the E42: replacing an existing basketball court slab with a new post tension slab in McNeal, AZ.
Our team battled the snowy conditions at the Steward Observatory, Mt. Lemmon, to get this telescope foundation cast in place.
Our Hilti Total Station made the layout precise.
All the form work was pre-fabricated in our shop.
It is now ready for the enclosure, dome, and telescope.
It will be tough to construct a telescope foundation with all this white stuff piled up on the ground. Where’s our layout stakes?
Even at the snowy Mt Lemmon Sky Center, our team is going to mobilize and make the OWL Telescope foundation a success!
It sure is nice to see this project going vertical. We are excited to deliver this new fire station to our great partner, the Three Points Fire District.
