The Baffert at Five Points

First an underground parking garage, and then a 3 story concrete building frame.  Could not do it without the best Construction Team in Tucson.

The Baffert at Five Points will be a mixed use building with commercial space on the ground floor and residential lofts on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

The Door Church New Sanctuary – Our First Foundation Concrete Pour

Kappcon General Contractor’s and our Subcontracting Partners have made the first concrete pour of the finish floor for the new Sanctuary Building.

Congrats to the team that worked so hard to get to this milestone!

We are very proud of our team that reached this milestone!  The building is going to be awesome!

Kappcon Operational During Covid-19 Outbreak

Dear Valued Project Owners, Design Professionals, Subcontractors, Vendors and Partners,

We are all experiencing a new landscape in the world of business that is aimed at helping stop the spread of Covid-19.

Please know that Kappcon Construction Operations are continuing and active!

  • For more information and to review up-to-date information, I’ve found this link very useful:  www.coronoavirus.gov
  • Most of our project management team has mobilized to a work from home situation.  They are using VPN connections and in some cases we have moved their complete workstations to their houses.  So we all have access to project and business related files and software.
  • We will maintain a limited presence in our office and phone calls will be answered at 520-292-2225.
  • Field Personnel-  Work continues at job sites with extra precaution, hand washing, and social distance.
  • Contract Status:  All contracts are Active.
  • Subcontract Status:  All subcontracts are Active.  Work continues at job sites with extra precaution, hand washing, and social distance.

Faster alone, Further Together.  Let’s keep together.

Broadway Bungalows are Moving!

We were proud to partner with the Rio Nuevo District, and Poster Mirto McDonald to move the historic structures off the new right-of-way at Broadway Blvd in Tucson, AZ.

This is a great example of the challenging work delivered by the team at Kappcon General Contracting and our subcontractor A-Arid Enterprises.

Broadway Blvd is widening and so these Historic Bungalows need to move out of the way….

Completed Project on Rita Road

A completed project, a happy team, and a souvenir picture!

Kappcon partnered with David Shambach, and George Roop to build this 40,000 SF facility for the Tucson Cannabis Campus.   It is a state of the art indoor cultivation center that is setting the industry standard.

Completed Project: Area 751

Area 751 is a residence addition in a private desert oasis, beautifully shot by Bill Timmerman.

Despite bearing a similar name to Area 51, there are no conspiracies, internet trends, or aliens here (that we know of!). Surrounding the sturdy metal work is just its inhabitants and a thriving desert ecosystem, which can be observed from the open-concept interior of the home.
