Kappcon General Contracting was a Job Order Contractor to build this Splash Pad. We started the work in April 2020. Working through the Covid Pandemic, we were able to deliver this splash pad by September, 2020.

The Baffert at Five Points
First an underground parking garage, and then a 3 story concrete building frame. Could not do it without the best Construction Team in Tucson.
The Baffert at Five Points will be a mixed use building with commercial space on the ground floor and residential lofts on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
The Door Church New Sanctuary – Our First Foundation Concrete Pour
Kappcon General Contractor’s and our Subcontracting Partners have made the first concrete pour of the finish floor for the new Sanctuary Building.
Congrats to the team that worked so hard to get to this milestone!

Tahoe Park Playground
This summer we worked on a new playground for Tahoe Park. We hope all the neighborhood children get to enjoy this for years to come!
Rocking K Splash Pad
A new Splash Pad is coming for the new Rocking K Park. Kappcon is constructing an Arizona shaped Splash Pad that will serve the new 600 home community off of Old Spanish Trail. It will be the shape of the State of Arizona. Our team is doing a great job, we can’t wait to see it completed.
Lincoln Park Splash Pad
This summer we worked on a few Parks and Rec projects for City of Tucson. Here is drone video of our Splash Pad at Lincoln Park.
Pueblo Del Sol – New MPR Building
Kappcon General Contracting has teamed with Sierra Vista Unified School District and BWS Architects to construct a new MPR and Classroom Building at Pueblo Del Sol Elementary School. The work was started in March 2020 and Completed in November 2020.
BUSD Indian Oasis Improvements
Much needed improvements to Indian Oasis Primary are underway!
Broadway Bungalows are Moving!
We were proud to partner with the Rio Nuevo District, and Poster Mirto McDonald to move the historic structures off the new right-of-way at Broadway Blvd in Tucson, AZ.
This is a great example of the challenging work delivered by the team at Kappcon General Contracting and our subcontractor A-Arid Enterprises.

Completed Design-Build Project – ADOT Maintenance Building
Finished up our Maintenance Building for ADOT. It was built using the Design-Build methodology.
Completed Project on Rita Road
A completed project, a happy team, and a souvenir picture!
Kappcon partnered with David Shambach, and George Roop to build this 40,000 SF facility for the Tucson Cannabis Campus. It is a state of the art indoor cultivation center that is setting the industry standard.
Bungalows on Broadway to be Moved
Kappcon will be partnering with Rio Nuevo to move 7 historic bungalows out of Broadway’s expanding right of way.

Concrete Slab for Rita Road Cultivation Center
Earlier this month, Kappcon and trade partner employees poured the largest concrete slab in our history. Poured in two separate evenings, the almost 900 yards of concrete will be the future home of the Tucson Cannabis Campus. This state of the art medical marijuana facility will be the largest in Arizona once completed.

A bluegrass dinner to celebrate the Christmas Season!
Merry Christmas! There was about 65 people in attendance at Kappcon’s Christmas Party this year.
While we had hoped to host this year’s party in the spectacular Flowing Wells Library MPR – which Kappcon built this year – we were really happy to instead transform our own warehouse into party space.
Thanks to Cadillac Mountain for jamming at our garage party (Thanks Joel, Rudy, Katy, and Heather). Tucson friends, you need to see this bluegrass band.
Everyone feasted on delicious Italian dishes from Roma Imports and embibed in wine from Plaza Liquors (Thanks Mark for pointing out some good bottles).
