Grand Opening

We enjoyed being with other local families celebrating the grand re-opening of the Flowing Wells Library on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

To quote one eighth grader present, “This library is LIT!

The Kappcon Construction Team agrees, this is one magnificent library!

The library actually is “lit” thanks to the light wall in the children’s area! Photo by Bradley Wheeler

Updates include new study rooms for teens, a children’s area, a large community room and a beautiful outdoor patio space. Kappcon is so proud of this project, several employees now use it as their go-to library! The Flowing Wells community will be well served by this engaging space.

Kappcon has partnered with Line + Space Architects and a host of incredible local subcontractors to remodel the Flowing Wells Library.  Although the original structure will remain intact, the library will nearly double in size. The library addition will incorporate new teen and children’s areas, expanded computer work stations and a multipurpose room; all optimally designed to evoke community pride and encourage engagement.

It’s pretty hard to believe that all this metal and concrete will one day look like Line + Space’s beautiful renderings! That’s the magic of commercial construction for you. We will be sure to keep you informed on the progress of this exciting project.
